Not yet John, he's using it as a development car in between other work, I work just down the road so can drop it in and leave it all day.

It's a good deal so I've done quite well out of it.

Very handy :). Craig seems a nice guy. Shame I couldn't pop in the other month when I was down that way.

£14.95 eBay jobbies, seems a good kit, complete with hole saw!

Yeah Craig's a nice bloke, known him a couple of years, knows his stuff for sure.

I've got my eye on a couple of different eBay ones as well but not sure if they're worth the risk. Let me know how you get on.

Sensors now fitted and working spot on :)

Seriously happy with the latest mod, got lots done yesterday!

It was a welded rivet mate, near the front of the seat! Sawed it off then replaced with an m6 bolt with washers and job done, height adjustment lost when its done up tight but I sit at the bottom of the adjustment anyway!

Giving her some summer loving next month fitting new:

Track rods and track rod ends

Wishbones

Bottom ball joints

Super pro anti lift rear wishbone bush

Meyle HD Drop links

Rear bearings/hubs

Think that's it, replacing all bolts etc too as they've been out a few times now and not replaced....naughty I know :p

Sticking to oem front wishbone front bushes this time, wasn't too keen on the powerflex ones really.

Just to keep this rolling along.

Changed my axle bushes this weekend, used plenty of fire a drill and lots of blood sweat and a few tears.

Oh, and I let my missus drive the other day! Scary stuff!

Track day at Combe Monday!

Scary stuff indeed lol. How did you get on with changing the bushes?

Well I'm back, between us we covered 150 track miles in her in the blazing sunshine!

Blew a boost pipe on the first laps out but soon sorted thanks to some borrowed tools and a new mikalor clamp.

Apart from that it performed perfectly, stayed out a little too long after dinner after I got carried away hunting cars down, tore holes out of my tyres and brakes were smoking their heads off lol.

Epic day mate.

Thanks for letting me tag along.

The car did really well.

National mega meet or what then lads? Im sorted but need some welsh back up. (Aimed at lloyd aswell)

Just to bring this up to date, I'm no longer the owner!

I started a new job 12 miles from home, got a bit fed up of fixing it, a bit sick of flywheel chatter, and the car I general, the love Affair was over!

So I ended up straight swapping it for an ep3 type r, they get a bit of a kicking on here in general.

But I can honestly say, it's a better car. No good for motorway cruising in relation to mpg etc. But I still pull 37mpg driving to work and back.

Vtec is addictive, fully independent suspension makes a world of difference.

I honestly don't miss the Fabia, I spent over £4,000 in 8 months! But still never quite clicked. Sad to say that really :(

Here's my favourite pics of it, it did look pretty sweet! The wheels did it for me!
