Yeah expecting that mate, I'll give it a go if it gets sketchy then it will need a rethink. As said I want to double check the current rear toe in before even thinking of doing it.

I'm slightly toed out on the front (0* 15 minutes) and its pretty sharp lol, it also encourages torque steer more!

Right, fitted the rarb!

It needs some proper compression to fit, used a ratchet strap, it needs to flex in by around an inch!

Here's how far it over shoots the mount points when the bar is central:

Ratchet strappin'

I hung the bar on the clamps then swung it up to the shock mounts, other way around may have been easier?

Once mounted I left all bolts slack, dropped it down to the floor then tightened everything up :)

The mikalors are a pain to bend around the beam but its all good now and fitted up well.

Not had a chance to test it out yet!

Nice strut brace :p lol

Anti twist brace ;) looking good though :p

Take you pick of names, had a little test this morning and get a nice bit of lift off oversteer at 50mph lol

can't wait for mine to arrive now ;)

Your supposed to fit the rear bar with weight on the rear wheels, not with the car jacked up, might be why it was more difficult to fit?

I had mine on a set of ramps, went on a piece of cake!

I tightened it with weight on mate, it's over an inch too wide, that's why it was a pain!

Love it though, far more noticeable than the jabba and whiteline I had.

Josh, any idea what tints are on your car? Mine is booked in tomorrow, but wondering if 20% Will be too dark, and may go for 35% instead.

I've no clue to be honest, I think the lad before me just picked from the guy holding some sheets onto the glass.

I'd say mine are a bit too dark, if it were me I'd go for the lighter of the two to avoid the van look!

Mine are 20%, deep down I dont like them, far too dark. Go for 35%, its amazing how much different it looks on a sheet of glass to when fitted on the car.

Cheers guys, went with the 35% in the end, looks spot on.

When are you getting your car mapped Josh?

Only have a pic of the flywheel fitted and the clutch kit on the floor lol, got a bit hectic towards the end of the day, chopped LOTS of the front end up to get the FMIC on! Will get some pics in situ tomorrow.

The flywheel is certainly noisy, and the bite is hard/juddery...it's gonna take some getting used to :) enjoying it though!

When are you going to mention what you're buying off me? ;)

  • Author

Haha no mention yet ;)

Not until I have shiny bits to go in it!
