Which Booster Pack for a diesel

Featured Replies

I think that would give a flaky battery enough of a boost to start a derv.

Obviously as you sort of imply, diesels do need a larger voltage for cranking power than a petrol.

I had one of these and they were rubbish barely was able to start a 1.4 petrol let alone a diesel.

Buy your self a ring rpp210 that's what I have keep eye on ebay. This beauty starts most cars up to around 5L

17ah, go spend the money on anew battery do you don't need it instead. If your battery is flat on a derv you'll find that 17Ah will do eff all, never mind the 8Ah when it's cold.

Had one and unless its only just "not enough" to start this probably wont do the job.

Also it needs to be on the car forr over 5 mins before you can restart

Why a battery is cheap, why not replace the batter for £50 and not get stranded?

If I knew you knew you had a dying battery and chose not to replace it, then I think I'd refuse to give you a jump start.

Nout wrong with my battery dude.

Just an incase thing to have in the car as winter is now here.

Ok, I see what you mean, but surely if the cold can stop you starting then it's time to invest in a new battery.

Unless of course you're talking about an I left the lights on moment etc.
