vRS clean in the cold!

Featured Replies

Weather finally let up this weekend so that I could finally clean the bloody thing! Been waiting ages to try and get it done, due to working o/t and early nights.

Cleaned the exterior yesterday, and spent 4 hours on the interior today!!! Including properly cleaning and protecting the factory leather :-) Only shame was that my new mats didn't fit - see other thread in a minute!

It's my excuse to pop some (bad quality) pics up on here of my motor. Recently lowered her on coilovers, and fitted a cat back Piper system. Just had a Shark map too :-)

A proper machine polish will be done when I a) get the time, and B) the weather is good enough!

Anyhow, pics....

Shiny! Nice chairs

What did you use on the leather? Not used anything on mine yet...

Poorboys leather 'stuff' is what I use :)

Nice exhaust tip

Very nice mate, leather looks stunning! :)

Cheers guys!

I used Autoglym Leather Cleaner first, then Autoglym Leather Care Balm. Seem to work well, and smell nice! I've been meaning to do it for ages. Don't fancy the leather cracking in the future.... hence I got it done finally! Even snapped the end of a toothbrush off so that I could properly clean where all the seams are - very anal!!

Alex, I like the twin rounds also, but I think most people have them. I think this suits the car more to be honest. Each to their own I suppose though...

Dan, you can see for yourself when we finally meet up!

Looking good mate love the leather! Mine in desperate need of a good valet, it's in a right state after this frosty weather with road salt etc.
