I took my roomster 1.9 in for service last week and also for the rear windows to be sorted. They carried out the work fine but said the horn on the car was wrong and were ordering a new one?

Today they rang up to say the horn was now in stock, they also said they new the car for a whole day to fit it. Why would it take a whole day to fit a horn?

To my knowledge the horn worked fine although it did sound a bit effeminate.

Has anyone else been told they needed there horn replacing?

Never had any problems with mine other than it is a feeble effort.

I guessed it didn't take long. I agree the horn on both our roomsters horns at exceptionally feeble. Will look forward to seeing the difference tomorrow

well the car has been in and they have apparently changed the horn and it sounds exactly the same. so god knows what was wrong with the previous one. A mystery I think.

At least it was free.
