Hi,

Hoping one of you can help - Recently changed the lights on the rear registration plate on my car, whilst doing this I have managed to loose a screw!! Does anyone know where I can order another or find the same screw on eBay that will fit?

Remove one from one of the other lens', and use it as a guide. I remember its a real narrow one. If you post a pic, I meet see if I have one in my collection. Got all sorts of bolts and stuff - never chuck any car parts away - never know when they might come in useful.

In the meantime if anyone can find any I am looking to buy new anyways as they are rusting. Would you say driving the car is okay with just the one screw? - Water isn't going to get through the hole and cause me a whole lot of trouble?? lol

Have you checked your tyres?

When I had to change one of the number plate lights on my car the scews were pretty corroded, I think I got a couple of replacements from B&Q.

Checked everywhere around the car and even checked the tyres yes! We heard it hit the floor then it vanished.. Spent a good ten minutes looking for it with no joy - Even moved the car!

I lost one of these about a year ago lol it's fine with only one. Wouldn't mind replacing it if you find anything tho

I didnt think it would cause a problem but it will niggle away at me not having one lol. Not had chance to take a screw out yet - too cold!!!

Found the correct screw for this guys. I will post up the data later in another thread incase people need to find a replacement.

Well I searched all over the internet looking for the size or to purchase replacements and couldn't find them anywhere! I bet I wont be the last to do so either so this should help someone out.
