I had some Cree Q5 led P21w reversing bulbs in my civic so i though i'd give them a go in the octy.

Fitted them and no errors on the dash and they are much better than the oem halogen bulbs but when i start the car they flicker for a couple seconds......any ideas why?

No nothing to worry about, ive had 3 vehicles with LED number plate bulbs (same bulbs for the past 5 yrs never failed anyway...) yeh its fine mate.

glad to hear. They are much better than normal halogen P21 bulbs although the position is a bit odd as they point slightly outwards

You can turn off cold diagnostics with vague com to stop it

can you turn off individual lights? I replaced my fogs with fabia RS LED fogs and I get the 'check bulb' warning. I mostly cant be bothered putting in resistors  

Do you mean the front spots and do they just fit in my car is an 11 plate vrs?

i mean the ones low in the bumper, we call them fog lights or driving lights over here.

yes they bolt in. however, the plug is wrong, and they will only work in full brightness, or 40% as they are usually a DRL. i got plugs and pins to crimp onto the wiring so it looks factory. if you want more info, im happy to start a new thread with some pictures etc. ohh and mines a FL model

would like them in my pre FL but they are different connectors and hard to remove unlike the fl

different connectors aren't a problem. I crimped new pins on and slid them into the new plug. 10 mins work.

GTi guys use the fabia RS LEDs by removing the rear section and putting their standard glass on, and then re-attaching it to the car.

Volvo I see have similar ones (I bet they are the same, but different glass/mounting) and also Toyota prius models have them too.

have a look at yours, then google the fabia RS ones and youll see if they are close enough to gamble a purchase.

Too dissimilar they look identical to Fl ones, nothing like mine

just get a FL front end and youll be fine :p
