Thanks to all who gave advice.

Got the parts for the PCV tonight and replaced it, what a difference!

Got the EML light turned off too, so hopefully that's it resolved :)

I just got all the part numbers shown in this link apart from the last one.

The PCV I got is at rev N.

rev n PCV fitted today and all is now well again!

Hi guys , I have skoda Octavia 1.6 , 75 KW was having the same issue and thanks to you all other wise the dealer almost robbed me .

Dealer told me to replace the throttle body and estimated 1200 euros wow !!

With the forum I did the research and went and asked them to check my PCV Breather hose ( Which was broken L shape connector ) and also the throttle body was cleaned .

Car now Runs excellent and smooth overall efficency including fuel consumption improved :)

I have the same problem with the revs and took it to my local Skoda specialist. They want to replace it, costing me over £600. Should I just ask them to clean it?

It seems I'm being ripped off.
