Nice little badge on a Furby vRS

Featured Replies

Just spotted this car for sale on Ebay, notice the vRS badge near the black rubbing stip at the front, is that just a normal vRS badge that sits on the front grille that has just been glued to either side?

Looks like an 05my> rear badge to me.

I toyed with the idea of doing this, stuck it on, thought it looked crap, took it off lol

Good choice

Superted has put Stick on VRS logo's above the side indicator lenses.

Non-standard addition for sure.

Doesn't look too bad on that one, but ours had the vRS logo taken off before I took delivery ;)

The badge on side doesn't look good IMO.

I'm thinking of removing the FABIA badge from the boot lid completely & then moving the vRS badge down to the bottom corner of the boot lid.

I removed the Fabia' date=' then moved the vRS badge up to follow the line of the boot, piccie:

(un-lowerd pic btw)

I like the Fabia bit, no point in hiding what you own.

However everyone does think it's a 1.8T

When you took off the fabia logo what did you do to the wholes it left? It looks good with it off.... ;)

The 'Fabia' doesn't have holes, it's stuck on with a strong adhesive. It's the round monogram that has the holes.

No holes on any of the rear badges except the round 'Skoda' badge, as Fabia 2.0RS said

Did the same with my black magic VRS. Does look better without noncy FABIA letters.

For the record, I used a plastic camping spoon to lever the letters off, then cleaned up any sticky residue (very little) with a damp duster cloth. Took about 5 mins.

Running a hairdrier over the letters helps to soften the glue so they just pull off without hardly any levering. Then used tar remover to get rid of the remaining glue :D Mine had been on the car for 3 years though and I removed both the FABIA and TDI badges :D

I removed all the badges from their current positions, relocated the vRS badge at the centre on the back over the two holes (Perfect fit) and put 2 more vRS badges at the bottom of the drivers and passenger doors and removed the rubbing strips, I think it looks nice but then I am a minimalist!

Now got the 17" octi vRS wheels (Need touch ups on all four... boo!) but got some black badges with just the silver outlone of the head thingy on the normal skoda badges, I really like them, will post tonight...

Alex

........ but got some black badges with just the silver outlone of the head thingy on the normal skoda badges,

Where'd you get 'em?? Ive been after a company to make me a Custom Badge for my Furby

Vynlstore (See Banner Ads) Make custom decals if thats what you want.

I think anything more would be pretty expensive.

Nope they go straight on, no body modifications at all... You need to change the tyres though to 205/40/R17 :)

It's a great news Thank you Walkie :)

Cheers

Hmmmm.... (Thinks about getting a hairdryer on vRS).

What do you stick the vRS badge back on with?

I said that without moving my fingers...

Cheers walkie. :D

Sorry, didn't realise it was a private thread

'Trim Tape' from Halfrauds, excellent stuff, had many a wash, not a sniff of the badge even thinking of coming off :D
