Hi

I have just copied some MP3s onto an SD card for the first time. The folder & file structure on the SD card is Artist/Album Name/Track. This plays but I am unable to select an album I have to scroll through all the tracks to get to the one I want just as if all the MP3s were in one common directory. Is this correct or have I created the wrong type of folder structure?

Martin

I normally use seperate folders for each album and have no problems.

Will it then let you select the album you want?

Sounds like my folder structure. Which I can select albums without having to go through all the tracks.

Trying going 'Up' (top left of the screen) to go up a level in the folder structure.

OK will give that a try - thanks KBPhoto

Yes

Hmm. I don't have an up button

My folder structure is what was created by Windows Media Player - could it be a problem with that?

You need to press the "Selecton" button (bottom right) first, then you should see an "Up" arrrow in the top left corner.

Ah - the cunning Up Arrow button - Thanks Declan been looking for that since I got the car last week :giggle:

Well, if you can remember to differentiate between the "Up" button (on the top left) and the "Back" button (on the top right) when driving and trying to change folders with only glances away from the road, then you're a better man than I am! The number of times I've pressed the "Back" button instead of the "Up" button... I blame ****-poor UI design on VAG's part.

I agree and the co-pilot is useless at things like that. Had my last car for 10 years and she still had not got the hang of her electric window - I had to wind it down for her :|

Damn it! I forgot that bit...
