Arm rest fitment...

Featured Replies

I've done a search but can seem to find anything on this

As you can see below, that big silver bracket at the bottom - where do it go and how does it fit in?

I was led to believe it fits in the cup holder but does the cup holder have to be cut out or something?

It does it fit in the little cubby hole behind that which you can pop out?

I see some for sale with and without that silver bracket, do I need it?

Look for Mattievrs armrest thread as he has fitted a rather excellent armrest in his Fabia vRS.

Found it but you need to be a Freedom member to view it. :(

Will see if it's posted elsewhere.

Found it....

Should be answers to all questions in there but i'm sure Mattievrs will be able to help with any answers you can't find.

Your a legend! :) I've even looked at that thread before but the diagram of how to fit it never loaded which is why I was confused!

Now just to hope this lad breaking his golf gets back to me! :)

You can also fit a mk2 fabia armrest into the mk1 fabias. Uses the metal "foot" and some screws and wood. TimFok is the guy to pm if you wanna do it that way.

Thanks mate, ill Have a look, golf ones seem more readily available but still fetch a decent price and generally aren't in that good condition :(

These are a direct copy so not genuine but still as good as. I had this in mine originally but sold it as i had another one with a different cover on as it was easier and quicker to do it that way. I can recommend theses aswell, just no 100% sure how easy/hard it would be to fit using wood and screws.
