I'm looking at getting a retrofit HID kit for my 2002 occy vrs however I have a couple of questions

- do they need to be canbus ?

- what kits are you guys using and your thoughts

Cheers llyod :) do you find that 6000k a little too blue in the dark ? They look awesome In the daytime :) any chance of a night time picture ?

Eeeerm :) they are brite but tbh yeah they do give a very white look which takes a bit of getting use to :)

But still nice to drive with :)

I'm in Nottingham mate where abouts are you ?

I wouldn't mind the brightness as I mainly drive on dark country lanes and the standard lights are pants for brisk driving as I cannot see :S

How much light is wasted from the 6000k or is it all on the road ?

No you don't need canbus for the mk1

I'm 6000k in mine which is just right ;)

They do light alot mate... I do mainly lurk in the city tho :D

I do go thru a lane on my way home tho and it lights it well

If in dount they do 4500 and 5k too dont they ?

yeah just under 2 and a half hours it would be a good drive to use a tank of fuel and run your car in :)

I'll try get some miles on him :)
