Well, after 5 months it arrived, I thought I,d post these pictures just In case someone would be interested in seeing it with the spoiler on, as it's the Elegance not Sport. I was suppose to have the oval exhaust but it hasn't arrived, hopefully soon. I've only done about 110 miles so far, only problem the wipers juddering, but I think it just needs the windscreen cleaning properly. Oh, and the rear garage sticker in the back, that I explicitly asked not to be fitted, and I never noticed until I got home.

Oh, new extra fitted, black BRISKODA.net sticker top leftside of rear window, fits neatly between brake light and edge inside demisting channels.

oh and the obligitry WELSH DRAGON, of course!

First glance ,the boot spoiler gives it a Mercedes look.

Yes, its the old one that I passed on to new owners yesterday.

My drivers side wiper juddered on delivery and did not clear the screen in rain. This was caused by a bent wiper arm.

Was about to ask you where you got the extra 0.2L, only to see that I misread 2 2L for 2.2L...

Would have been a cool old-fashioned performance mod.

Well, after using some window cleaner the juddering has not come back, cross fingers.

Looking at your plate South Wales based? if so can you recomend dealer for service. New Motor coming from Oxford (2.0FSI Elegance with some toys, wanted local supplier but lease company computer said no). Had experience of Griffin Mill as test drive seemed ok but Newport or Cardiff OK. Any Comments from anybody would be welcome..

Looks good! I am going to get one of those spoilers as well! Does the oval exhaust tip go on ok? I thought there might be a problem as the tdi pipes bend downwards, thought tip might restrict flow. Does anyone else know anything about this?

As a matter of interest, I see you have the nice 17" wheels on it. Now that comes with lowered suspension right? Or is it possible to order those wheels without the lowered suspension?

I quite like the ride on the standard Octavia but love those 17s. But adding 17s and a lowered suspension may harshen the ride too much for my liking.

For non-motorway driving on potential rough roads, does the 17s/lowered suspension combination make it all a bit too harsh? Bear in mind that the ultimate sporty drive is not what I'm looking for. It's comfort and cruiseability that I like. I've had my fair share of bone shakers.

NO :( The build was put back 4 weeks at the last minute. It's been confirmed for build this week though so.......
