Almost made a big mistake...

Featured Replies

Hang my head in shame, almost made a big mistake before buying the Octavia by buying a.... Vauxhall! :peek:  I blame the missus for wanting to get a Vauxhall lol!

Anyhow, coming up to a week of ownership now and I am loving every moment of it, more so than I reckon I would have any other car!

I've got an Octavia after my last 2 motors being vx. I would've considered one again but they're just so bland, but now I have my Octy I love it and will definitely seriously consider the 3 when I come to renew

But you can't get the VX for the same money as the Octavia. I was looking at an Astra, they are everywhere and even this was more expensive than the Octavia would have been new - can't even compare the Insignia with the price. :)

We have an Octy VRS and I have an Astravan Sportive. The van is ok but vaxhall customer service and warranty is CR4P. They come last every year in the Auto Express customer satisfaction survey and trust me I know why and agree with the results.

I wouldn't buy a vauxhall with your money let alone mine. I've had vauxhall hire cars and a works van and hated them all with a vengance. No redeeming features at all IMO. Best bought by other people!

they are so middle of the road its unreal.

bland, dull, boring, uninspiring.....all words to descrbie vauxhalls. If you want to hide in a car park a vauxhall is the car to get lol
