Cool, I was worried the rubber might be useless. I have had my original golf blades on the car for the last 5 or so years so I think they could do with being replaced, so worried that cheap might mean rubbish. I know the Bosch replacements are much more!

they are ok i bought the sets front and rear.

I have ordered a set, will see how I get on. Thanks :thumbup:

Saw this too late, but might be worth checking at a friendly TPS. Bought a set for SWMBO's Mk1 TT and they were £11.25. Still a bit dearer than those that you have found anyway though.

My nearest TPS isn't very friendly at all. I would probably have a 60 mile round trip there only to be told to do one :-(

I remembered that which is why I said try a "friendly" one :rofl:

fair point, I really do need to find a friendly one. Although my local friendly garage did offer to source parts from TPS for me if I get desperate, which I might need as my other local independent parts supplier has just closed its doors :sweat:

I know this isn't local but their prices aren't bad;

Also, don't forget about the forum discount at Euro Car Parts.

I like my 25% discount at ECP, shame they dont stock everything I want though... like rear bump stops.

I have also used VeeW Service (http://www.veewservice.com/) in Bristol who have been quite handy (for when I am in Bristol, that is!). They came up trumps when I needed a new pulley for my alternator in a hurry (and even removed the old broken bit and fitted the new one).
