Passed for another year. Just about...

Featured Replies

Had car MOT'd today. It struggled on emissions and after a few attempts scrapped through. The car has no logged faults, and runs perfect. The car has stage one remap, cai, forge 007 and 4 bar fpr. It has been serviced recently aswell so do I just put it down to a bad day and tha fact it doesnt get used every day or is there something I should be looking at?

Also there was 1 advisory for drivers side suspension top mount. Are these best just replaced as a pair with standard item?

Cheers

Dazz

I'd replace top mounts as a pair, because if one is going the other might not be far after

as for emissions, just get car up to temp by taking for a 10 min blast before MOT

Interesting, is there a need even for a standard-ish car to have an uprated FPR? Maybe that is richening things. Could even be dropping you MPG/

FPR was needed when the car was mapped apparantly. Was done about 5 years ago by the dreaded JBS lol. Goes well tho :)

Shouldnt be needed?

Fpr isnt needed on stage 1 cars or even stage 2 in most cases.

Id change it and see if it improves things. Maybe do a rr day

Sounds like a easy way to overfuel to me?
