Not the rack then? Are you running adapters/spacers for the wheels lloyd i would check that they havent cracked/ snapped

Or could be one of the track rod inner balljoint as they would have had to swap them over to my rack, jack the car up and grab hold of the wheel either side and give it a wiggle see if theres any play

Sub frame bushes can make noise and allsorts of wobbly sensations, coloum can be noisey as fook too

shame mate, really is, especially when all specialists say rack, when it obviously isnt.

wish i was closer dude, id have done all of this for you mate. Give it a nights sleep and and some cups of tea and it may seem a little better.

it is rare hence all the comments in the initial thread that we all recon it was something else. Probably need new subframe bolts and bushes or something from dryness and cracking, as wear and tear is highly unlikely.

You have a rack to sell that has only covered 16k though.

If you are at witts end there should be a queue of prospectives on here, eager to cash you up. Dont lose sleep over what is essentially metal, plastic and rubber

There is something not right in the steering dept tho. When he turns the wheel there is a judder thru it.

I know exactly how you feel I had this with my last Evo.

You keep thinking, just dig this bit deeper and everything will be fine, then it still isn't or something else lets you down, but you keep at it, because you have already gone so far, and spent so much.

There does come a point where enough is enough and you just have to draw a line and let go.

I just wish I found that point before I went mad with it lol.

i find it hard to believe that the lowest milage mk1 on the forum has a fecked rack. Deffo go for the second opinion Lloyd. Failing that, Trevs rack is uber cheap.

Dont let it get you down lloydy. Cars can be a PITA.. its prob somthing simple like a fecked bush or loose bolt. If only you were closer mate :(
