Sure it will have problems, but so will your next car. look at it this way, each thing you fix isn't going to break around the next corner, it might in your next car.

You'd be hard pushed to get a car as practical as one of these. 40+ mpg taking it easy is a hell of a lot better than an R32 would get.

You're never going to get what it's worth to you unfortunately. Newer cars than this = higher repair bills/parts.
