Well any poop tire

They all seen to be rocking fullrun / kenda / basically crap tires on wheels they want 2 grand for!

Totally rubbish

Jase you make me laugh, iv just spat a loud of beer out chuckling at your comment of " I wouldn't run Nankangs on my wheelbarrow" I could never run them on any vehicle of mine. They are dangerous in the wet.

So I have to agree with you.

Bit of an update....now looking for a celica gt4 that takes my fancy, so if anyone knows anyone selling one or has any advice feel free to get in touch :D

Little bit of info on st205: http://www.pistonhea...&t=816317&mid=0 (oil change every 3k is entertaining..)

Are they classed as modern classics now?

Isn't S2000's under modern classics insurance?

Just spit-balling, but keep us updated.

Cheers for that, i was thinking all gt4s were imports till i read that....that makes the insurance the same as my fabia of it aint imported :D

Noo idea about the s2000s, the insurance quotes i got for them were silly

They carry bad claim statistics.. especially this time of year. They tend to have an attraction to lamp posts.

Good choice, here is our old GT4. It was a WRC limited edition.

Looks tidy. Always like the Celica GT4

My mate went from a gt4 to a s2000. The gt4 is a cracking car but Isn't the suspension set up weird with loads of linkages and bushes that tend to wear?

Try find a s2000 with the hard top, rare and worth alot of money!

Yeah they have superstrut suspention, all the parts have been changed recently including the shocks and springs to adjustable coilovers, so i shouldnt have to worry about that

There was a gunmetal hardtop s2000 with red leather interior for sale not far from me but i cant insure them :(

Good choice mate, you took my advice eventually hahaha Think the car was up for sale in Edinburgh a few years back, then again in June last year by a private trader in NE England. Both times especially the last I was very close to going for a serious look. Unfortunately it sold whilst I was still in the Netherlands.

She's a proper group A homologation special that one (wrc version), should have intake water spray and anti-lag devices fitted from the factory plus a small bonnet spoiler (to stop bonnet lift around 125mph iirc, definately needed lol). It's also got rare factory option oz chrono wheels that emulate the rally cars tarmac spec wheels (before toyota changed to the six spoke Speedlines).

Nice to see the dealer hasn't upped the price either, was 3k last time too.

Can't say in not a little bit jelous, I'm frequently looking to get another one she looks like a minter. Enjoy!

I honestly cant belive its nearly the same age as me, theres barley any marks on it, only thing that im going to change is the factory radio too one that has an ipod connection. Might have a look at plumbing the water spray up aswell

I was sold on it when it starting popping flames while changing gear under some grunt :D also helped the dealer is about 30seconds from my house

Yes, or Skyline.

Big tuning culture and lots of meets/shows.  Just like VAG.

Go on, you know you want to... ;)

Its a pain in the arse, rules out so many nice cars :(

First world problems eh.

I couldn't have afforded to buy or insure any of your cars when I was that age. Expensive living on your own :(

Now common sense means I can't spend that much on a car/insurance :P

Oooo! That's a lovely example of the Skyline.  Is that the R32?
