Thought the headlight washers wern't working on my Superb..........but it's OK ...SE level Superbs don't have them, it's a £155 option...yet another problem solved :think:

They're only standard on the Elegance model (and above) as it's a legal requirement to have them fitted with Xenon headlights

Very interesting reply , why are they a legal requirement for xenons ?

as the Xenon beams are so powerful any dirt on the light well displace the beams and blind other driver (or so they say)

Xenon's must be self levelling (or the car be self levelling) be of projector type (altho early Volvo V and S 40's did were not) and have washers.
