Blackline wheel nut covers

Featured Replies

Do they come in black?

Nope, I'm pretty sure you get the standard dark grey ones.

All the Skoda Blackline shots have been Photoshopped to show the wheel nut covers in black.

If that's the case then I can only express my disappointment. :S

If they made a mistake and didnt supply black covers, maybe I'd accept it.if they've deliberately doctored promotional material to hide this then that's plain deceitful,....:.

Its only wheel nut covers calm doon.

Seat ones are black and they fit. They are a different design though.

Haha true - and i havent actually looked at any to see if it even matters, it's more the principle of it that i dislike. It's almost like saying "oh, that don't look good, might put people off buying one. I know, we'll hide it so they don't realise until its too late. Mwuhahahahhaaaaa!"

I appreciate that it's probably a different department (as in the marketing bids will have done it) but how much better would it have been if they'd gone back and said "those black wheels you've put on could do with black wheel but covers" and skoda had actually agreed.

Good thing is try must be cheap enough parts so little risk to any owners who want to try painting them.

Personally its a bloody nuisance every time you wash the car water lodges in the recesses for the wheel nuts, so perphaps the holes could be filled with black grommets . Just a thought, yeeer right stupid i know. :sun: :giggle:

Don't the mk5 golf alloys have the black grommets that cover the wheel bolts.

HI have all black octi with black wheels got black nut covers off e bay and black locknut covers from audi

regards Mark

Why Skoda couldn't have raided the Audi parts bin I've no idea!

They are matt black though

only prob with audi caps is the locking wheel nut is slightly larger than skoda so a little clear silicone holds them firm ,you,ll be hard pressed to see the matt finish once installed

Yep blackline nut covers are grey but the dealer changed mine to black without me asking. I probably wouldn't have noticed otherwise.
