I got that last year from my daughter and a sign to put up outside the house to say it was a Yeti parking area and all other cars would be towed. :-))

I was hoping that they would've got the hints I left and got me Nightbreakers Plus for the fog lights. :-(

Brother in Law bought me a book on Cars of Eastern Europe, which included a large section on Skoda obviously and a short paragraph on the Yeti, if that counts :wonder:

My daughter bought me a flat cap :-(

Slightly off topic I guess but I treated Beti to full interior leather clean and protect with a couple of bottles of some new Sonus leather care liquid for christmas and its come up really well indeed (usually use AutoGlym or Gliptone). Despite my reservations regarding the quality of the leather used on Skodas, after 30,000 miles it still looks like new! :-)

My Yeti related present will be revealed in a couple of weeks, when it's on the car. :)

Ahh, very intriguing :wonder: Been following your great citigo project so expect something pretty spectacular!! ;)

A pair of driving gloves from my son.

I'd mentioned how cold the leather steering wheel was in our recent cold spell.

Reminds me of a sign I saw in Hebden Bridge ... "Witches parking area - other cars will be toad".

My wife bought me a 3/8" Gearwrench socket set. I think she wants my Webasto-installation to hurry up

You won't regret

Nothing car related!! :'( :'( :@

I bought SWMBO, the briskoda calendar, to say she was less than impressed would be an understatement.

Sometime later after having looked closely at all the pictures declared that we should put forward our pic of ours and Brijo's special build meeting in the Lake District.

Fickle women eh!

I didn't know you could get Yeti size wellies. :hi:

Floods and lots of rain :giggle: . But took it all in true yeti fashion, and sailed on (in some places sailing may have been the better option  )

I got a Yeti air freshener with my name as the number plate! Don't know what it smells like yet though.

A real Yeti?

Maybe not! :D

My wife (and a few others) bought a Thule roof rack and 2 bike racks.

It's been raining so much since 25th that I haven't had chance to put them on.

Here it is, a poor scan of it anyway, a personalised Yeti air freshener.

As well as my Yeti (present to myself) I got a cuddly Yeti (car) that unzips and turns inside out into a 'real' Yeti - I love it but my 6 year old nephew has appropriated it :-)

I'm intrigued - we need a photo!

Incidentally CB8, I like your member name. I wonder how many know what it relates to, and how many (apart from me) have towed one with their Yeti !!!

It would be good if you'd populate your profile too, so we know in which part of the world you are located & what you are driving.

Hi John! I've looked for a pic on the web but can't find one - i'll post mine later :-)

As for the username, well I have to admit I don't have a B8, although I would love one - or a B16 or 19 (I genuinely believe Derek Bennett was a genius who never designed an unattractive car). I actually race a Ford 100E (co-owned with my Dad) in the HSCC (much quicker than people would think), and we also have the (only) Cannon GT which should make an appearance this year. I also used to be an instructor at Croft before my 'normal' employer became a bit too demanding. To be honest it was 50/50 between buying the Yeti and an early Sports 2000, but a) my baby girl won't fit in a Sports 2000, and B) never borrow to buy a racecar!

What's the story behind you and a B8? Are you lucky enough to own one of the little giant killers?

Years ago, I used to watch John Bridges in a Chevron B8 beating all opposition at Croft in the Formula Libre races. Lets not forget Brian Redman as well who drove Chevrons with gusto.

Ah those where the days

Regards Tony
