YETI v GROUSE

things may not be quite as clear south of the Border.

They never are! :giggle:

In the absence of any definitive Anglo-Welsh-N.I. legal interpretation, the simple answer is to claim your roadkill originated in Scotland! :giggle: :giggle:

Or......

Don't get caught chucking it into the boot!

TBH, around here the rabbits I hit invariably end up flat, and the blasted pheasants I can never find!!

Nicely hung

Boasting again?

I nearly clattered one earlier too. They are incredibly stupid birds. At the first sight of an approaching vehicle they seem to run into its path. :wall:

Aye - and there are sheep on the Beacons whose collision detection systems are sadly less than adequate - and when they get stoshed by a muckle HGV the resulting splatter of their gut contents can contaminate yards and yards of the road, to say nothing of the actual meat.......

There are some mornings on the road between Brecon and Hrwaun on the Heads of the Valleys road when one has to steer around two or three corpses.

I was offered eight legs of venison recently,

Didn't have it cos it was too dear.

The old ones are the best ones!!

Obviously, you hit the animal, saw it was injured, and are now taking it to the vet. Unfortunately, when you open the boot, due to the lack of life support facilities in your vehicle, it was since ceased to be.

What could be more reasonable?

We have lots of shoots round here, so a plethora of pheasants, which vie with rocks for the dumb of the year award. A female of our acquaintance was doing the above, when all of a sudden the stupid beast awoke and started flying about inside her Fiesta. Fun, games, panic and poo about in biblical proportions.
