16" rims on a vRS?

Featured Replies

I have here, a set of spare 16" alloys off a Fabia vRS, and wondered .....

1) will they actually physically fit an Octy vRS,, and ...

2) would they look absolutely hilariously ridiculous on it?

Just thought I'd possibly put them to good use and shod them with a set of winter tyres?

1. Yes,but not with fabia tyres.

2. No, the vrs estate came with 16" rims.

Quite. The profile would have to be deeper I presume, or the speedo would be way out.

I thought the only options on the Mk2 vRS's were 17" as standard or 18" optional?

Ahh, well then you've confused us by posting in the Octy Mk1 section.

Edit: Oops, beat me to it.

As far as I know, the offset it different for a start between Fabia and Octavia. And all the Mk2 Octy has different wheel nut spacing to the Mk1. As for Fabia Mk's I have no idea how they vary...

If the wheels are off a mkI Fabia then the pcd will be wrong. I'm not sure what the pcd on the mkII Fabia is.

Thread moved.

Fabia is 5x100, Octavia mk2 is 5x112 so they won't fit. 16" wheels with he right PCD, width and offset will fit - Skoda supplies a 16" spare if you choose a spare wheel as an option.

Yea I agree with JulieD I am sure the question came up before too, I have 16" Audi alloys on my VRS at moment for the time of year. 16" on the Octavia tyre wise is 205/55/16.
