I guess that does mean Passat part is suitable - if it was exclusive to Superb it would be a 3U part instead of 3B.

Are you sure for this?

I need to buy fuse cover and it has 3B, I think it would fit to Sup, but Im not sure.(Im worried about colour).

Here is part number for VW Passat: 3B0858035A

And here is p.n. for Superb:3B0858035C

So I suppose they are not same colour, what do you guys think?

That's nice of you buddy. I'm not trying to steal the sunglasses holder, but any chance you can post a picture? Just wondered what shade of grey it is, I may see if I can find one for mine and wondering if that part number is the correct colour.

Picture is taken but you'll have to wait until I get 5 minutes, only been back for a couple of hours from sking in France and I've got to unpack my bags, got a right mess going on here. Went in the superb of course :hi:

3) I'm not sure about average fuel consumption data ... I don't have a maxidot display. I only have the poor man's version. :D I know there are two trip computers and two settings for average fuel cunsumption. One resets itself after approx. 2 hours of being parked. That's the "trip average". The other is always an average based since you last reset the computer ... it does not reset until you reset it. That is the "overall average". If you have a little number 1 in the corner of the display, you are looking at the "trip average". To switch between them, press the button on the bottom of the windscreen wiper stalk.

It sounds like your computer is displaying the "instant average", the average that shows you how many mpg you have at that exact moment in time. In my car, I just press the wiper stalk button to change the display. If you want the average fuel consumption you need to keep changing the display until you see a Ø symbol. That is your average. (see below)

That's awesome! I've been wondering what the '2' was on my average mpg display and now i know! cheers!!

On the stinky silicone, I was in the Skoda garage the other day and overheard them talking about a strange smell in one of their new cars, it was traced back to some fish-based glue that had been used! Perhaps the silicone was fish based?

I may be wrong - hell, it wouldn't be the first time - but I'm pretty sure the longer term consumption figures (option 2) do automatically reset - after 99 hours 59 minutes.

Ok guys, finaly today has arrived Seat Leon Cupra splitter/ spoiler.

I wonder now, do I need to cutt off these(hm...how to say) two large plastic clips on the midle on splitter? I hope so you can understand me

It seems to me that they are so big. :wonder:

Another q is do I need to take off the bumper or I can install splitter right on without taking of my bumper?

Tnx for help. :giggle::hi:

You could well be right about that. I think it just logs the X amount of hours and calculates the mpg from it. X could easily be 99h59m.

Cut the plastic clips with a very sharp knife or hacksaw. I did at least. The bumper does not need to be removed.

I have finally finished installing Seat splitter on my Sup.

It wasnt hard, but definetly if you are detailer it demands some time.

Well, it was all started when I saw that I need to take off bumper(I dont know how Clown do it without taking off, but my drill is very big).

Than I had used some good HQ double side tape, and carefully glu splitter on bumper.

Than I had return bumper on car, saw how it look, and than again(you supose) take off bumper.

At this point I have drilled holes and I have use 8 or 10( I dont remember exactly) 3cm long regular self-tapping screw(tnx Clown for recomendations).

And again mounting bumper, and than final step, cut off from both sides small peaces which wasnt needed, and was coming in wheel arch.

Then filnaly back on bumper, and that was the end of job. :whew:

I won to say to all people who are consider doing it on car, come on and do it.

It looks really fantastic, and like OEM peace. :giggle::blush:

Actually there is just one worry, and that is will it rub on rough roads, rocks and something like that.

And for now, I dont have answer for that q, but I will find out tommorow when I take a spin. I have hope it wont, because it is in line with lowest point on car.

Thats it my folks, tnx all good guys who helped me and support me..bla, bla, bla,. ..I have more and more plans for my Sup, I just hope so we will stick together and customize our cars for our taste.:rock:

Photos buddy, we need photos.
