Hi all,

After replacing the passenger side fog unit at the end of August I am a little miffed that its just gone again. They are not cheap and it's a bumper off job!

A while back I remember seeing some perspex protectors on Ebay for for the mk1 Fabia vRS. They seem to have gone now though.

Does anyone know where I can get them or any other way of protecting the Fogs?

Obviously a plastic film like Lamin X is an option but I doubt it will offer much resistance if hit by a chipping.

I reckon lamin-x would work it's quite thick

I run 2 layers of lamin-x on my fogs and have had them on nearly a year(20k miles though!) and havent had any problems. i think its just bad luck im afraid

Yeah, lamin X is very tough, if you want to be sure, stick 2 layers of clear on.

+1 for the Lamin-x, put it on mine last year, works a treat
