Well just won one of these to go with my newly purchased pd150.

Got an idea of replacing the pipes with alloy ones and taking fog light out in favour of a duct for cold air aswell as the arch vent mod.

I know there's been a few posts on about how well will these work so will keep people updated on progress on how well it works

Well Itl be a challenge to get it to fit but I'll make a step by step guide . Plus with my recent proving that other sets of seats will fit I wouldn't rule me out yet lol

I've already got Samco hoses on both sides at the minute so I'm sure a little custom work won't go a kiss after all when is anything a straight fit these days

Why not just do the widemouth conversion and mount it at the front?

Just wondering of the benefits at fitting it on the side rather than at the front of the bumper

I had one of these from my Toledo and wanted to fit it by Fabia when I got it. I took the old one out and thought how on earth do I fit this new one in! So I put the old one back in! In the end fitted a FMIC.

Because not knocking anyone who has one but putting a massive gaping hole in my front bumper is not what I want to do. Defeats the point of smooth euro vag that I want and I paid £78 for this not £250 for a front mount and I want it to be as standard looking as possible fitting a front mount for a pd150 for me can't see the point unless hybrid.

I want to keep it stock looking so to speak In terms of engine mods so people don't know what's in it. For the money Itl be worth trying to see what gains etc come with these to maybe aid others in future to buy or not to buy
