I don't think it will but would a poor maf sensor cause overboosting? - any one had overboost and found it was the maf sensor?

They never follow exactly, it's impossible as its a closed loop system so something needs to be achieved, sensed and then reacted to which will always differ slightly.

even if they are off by 200mbar?
