just fitted a dragon chip to a 90bhp tdi.

Is it chip or a box? If it is a standalone box and you are still within your warranty, remove it.

for 175 quid i persume its the digital box? i have one on my vrs great init!!! ill love rollin to the lights in second, then as they change bootin it and leavin everyone behind!!

Excuse my suspicions, but:

90bhp Octavia + Dragon box = approx. 110-115bhp

There is no way an octavia with 115bhp is going to reach 60 in 8 second. If its under 10 i would be pleased.

And second point:

I contacted Dragon performance the other day to ask if the unit they were auctioning on Ebay for a 90/110 TDI was digital or analogue. There reply was that the 90/110 were analogue and the PD engines were digital. Now if this is true then they are no better than the cheap

not on any commission and i went for the dragon one as a pose to the cheapo because dragon got better reviews over the internet than a cheapo one on ebay and i appreciate money, alot, so paying over 10k for a car and then risk putting a cheap box in and possibly engine damage (im not a mechanic either) - no thanks. rather pay a bit more and have peace of mind.

cant say the timing is pin point accurate but if ever your in my area, feel free to come and time me.
