Featured Replies

i really want this CR170 but i definately dont want to be buying n opening a can of worms!

As you are in spain the laws will be different to the UK.

You can in the UK, but Spain has much stricter emissions regulations than the UK.

im currently in the uk and choosing a biased spanish car :p

but im having abit of problem choosing the right car i really want a cr 170 but im sure and read up that theres alot of problems with the injectors. can they be replaced with the dpf removed and its problem solved? or with it always be a case of replacing the injectors etc?

The injectors problems were to do with the PD170 engine not the CR170.

We have done scores of CR170 DPF deletes, so it's definitely possible and they pass a UK MOT no problem.

so if i do get a pd version, is it possible to fix or replace the injectors? with the dpf delete and what ever else needed to keep the injectors safe? i was under the impression change them once never again, aslong as you sort the dpf out?

If you get the PD170, whether it is fitted to an Audi, VW, SEAT or Skoda the injector issue is a non-issue.

This is because they either will have already been replaced under the official VOSA recall or can be done simply by ringing the manufacturer for approval.

The injector and DPF issues are unrelated.

Slightly related. What,( if any), decrease in fuel consumption and power increase will this possibly achieve too?
