Mine was built week 46 and arrived in Grimsby two weeks later, dealer the following week and then three days to collection. Let's hope the proposed bad weather does not slow it all down for you in the transportation.Best of luck

Most generally appear to be shipped to Grimsby from there, although Sheerness is also used and possible one other port further north but which escapes me.

Our new Fabia Monte Carlo was built WK46/47 (mid November); dealer not to sure and we collected on the 7th December although we could have picked her up the day before but work got in the way.

Mud flaps!!! If these cause a delay i would have a concern. Actually I've just heard the dealer thinks it will be ready before March, avoiding the 13 number plate :-)

Talking of mudflaps, I've just removed the front ones to apply some 3M paint protection tape, as the rear edge of the flap was chaffing through the paint at an alarming rate, particularly the offside.

The dealer asked if we wanted to pick it up first/second week in Feb, but we have told him we want to hang on for the '13 launch (we were tempted though!!!)

My monster came into Port of Tyne, which is where most Skodas destined for dealers north of Yorkshire land, so I am told. My wife's Citigo has allegedly been built this week, so will be watching the shipping!
