Does anybody know if the wing mirrors on a 1999-2008 Octavia are the same as a 2012/13 model Octavia. Reason i was thinking of getting some chrome mirror protectors as im a clumsy git but there only advertised for the earlier model. If they are different its Carbon wrap.

i think they are the same as i know someone who fitted FL mirrors to his older Octavia

They are door mirrors apparently, well not where I come from

I experimented with some of these on my MK1 Superb a few years back. The road salt ruined them, never bothered with silver mirrors since.

I do beleive the fl octy mirrors are same as the current a4 mirrors so could prob look there.

Sorry about stiring an old thread... But are the two attached images the same wing mirror? Found a very nice set of mirrors for the A4, and was hoping the housing is the same. Sure looks like it...

Edit: After looking at the pictures myself, I see that they are not the same. The turn signal is different.

Glad we settled that little argument then, A4 mirrors are different to the FL Octavia's
