It worked up to a week ago and stopped working. I have checked the fuse which is ok . I cannot work out how the unit is removed I have the arm rest version. Does anyone have any ideas

to get the unit out you need to firstly remove the arm rest.

You do this by taking the two flaps off on the left and right at the back. You then use a spanner or socket set to get the arm out.

Once its out there are two of the star screws in the section where the arm rest came from. Take them out.

Then the whole plastic bit should lift up with a bit of force. You should be able to see if the lead is connected properly from there.

If not take it entirely off by just sliding it up the hand brake.

Just remember that there are two fuses for the 12V. One for the boot and one for the ciggy lighter. Have you checked the other fuse?

btw them two screws are under the rear ash try, this just pulls out

just remember that if the rear electric window child locks are switched on, on the main leccy window control panel then this also cuts the cigar lighter off .
