Skoda Newby

Featured Replies

I come here in peace, after life long affair with BMWs. My last one was an E90 Petrol 3 series. I never thoughjt I would drive a front wheeler after the handling finesse of the Beemers. Having always thought highly of the Superb, I had to let my love with BMW go due to prohibitive servicing and part costs

I now am a reluctantly proud owner of a Skoda Superb II 170 elegance. Proud because eveyone who sits in it cannot believe it is a Skoda and its legendary leg room at the back. Everything works with exactly the same precsion as my BMW, if not even better> I am still discovering all the hidden gems in the car. It all must be good, because all I can find wrong is that the steering controlled volume can accidently turn itself on when turning the wheel!

Ok, the handling is not quite a 3 series, but most of my journey is in the london traffic, where the DSG is a boon. Strangy forme, am looking forward to the new III model this year.

Only, if could sort the Hands-free synch with my new HTC oneX. I know what I have to get ( Thank you to the posters here !), but cant seem to get one for love or money

Hi and welcome aboard.
