anyone seen a 1.8t engine for sale? what sort of money were they going for... just a block+head no turbo required?

worth looking at ebay??? I've seen Audi TT engines going on there.

AMD had a couple of TT engines / 6 speed gearboxes + ECUs going for around 3k each........

just want a block/head for an auq...... nowt else.....

whats needed is a v12 xjs engine on the back seat with a 400bhp nos kit... 4 k03 turbos f.a. cats etc and over 1200hp...

A mate of mine has a spare XJS V12, I think.

It's the one he took out of his XJS when he put in the current 400bhp + manual box combination. NOT a car you want to drive in the wet....

We call him "Mr Sideways". He doesn't use the XJ a lot, as it does 15mpg (on a good day). He sticks to his Volvo 960 (soon to have a Rover V8 installed), and the oldest, nastiest Polo you ever saw. The Polo is the most secure car on the planet. The door locks haven't worked for years -and it still hasn't been stolen, even in Luton!

See it as "fun" car, trailer it, take somewhere and blat about a bit, then trailer home. Could not see it's use for everyday, unless I could track down one of the very rare estates, they looked great IMHO, but I seem to like boxes
