edited to say I'm not buying one. My existing alloys are 1" bigger, it will be lowered by 15mm more, and a remap will give me 20BHP extra too. Altogether its better value for me to just mod my own TDI.

Also noticed on the Skoda site that they've extended the 0% finance offer - excludes the Fabia vRS, but it looks like it includes all Octies.

Will find out more tomorrow and let you all know.

That's amazingly cheap, I'd say!

The Octy vRS is 15,330 pounds over at your end, so 1.28 times more expensive. If the Dutch Fabia RS price (still unknown) is 1.28 times cheaper than the Octavia, it would even be cheaper than a Ibiza TDI 130 Sport, that doesn't have the lowered suspension and bigger brakes that I expect the Fab will have, and then there's the bodykit too. It would be amazing value.

Imagine what a 3-door 1.8T Fabia RS would cost...

Thats a bargain of a price, considering the engine/gearbox combo you will be getting.

Awww no 0% finance on the fabia vrs :(. Surely the dealer will let ya have 0%.

Having dealt with Paul Davies I doubt he will extend 0% if it is not given by Skoda.

Know what you mean - strange character but pleasant all the same.

Have to say, I have always had excellant dealings with Barry at Sherlodge,in that I /we have never felt pressured or like we were dealing with a car salesman (of which we were) if you know what I mean.

I take it its still the 150 BHP TDI engine with 5 speed box. Just checking incase it changed to 20V1.8T with 6 speed!

I am astonished that you have found someone to take your order.

When ever I have asked my local dealer if he has any information about the Fabia vRS, they just shrug their sholders and mumble that Skoda "dont tell them anything"...

Mind you I have never been that impressed by them (although there is one lad in the service area who seems switched on)...

About the brakes - I'm not convinced the vRS Fabia is coming with bigger discs or pads, but I've yet to see any kind of spec for it yet. The price initially looks good BTW, I only paid a few hundred less for my current car. :(
