DECT phones with shared address book?

Featured Replies

Our bt main base has died, so looking for a new phone with answerphone.

One thing I would like on a replacement and hate about bt phones is each phone has a separate phone book.

Does anyone know of any makes/models of dect that have shared phone book between handsets?

I'm not sure which phones have a shared phone book but plenty allow you to easily transfer phonebooks between phones.

Any brands you know do that?

Bought Panasonic ones for my parents and only found out after I'd put all the numbers into both phones you could copy the address book over. If you subscribe to BT caller ID it will show whose phoning

It was also the Panasonic phones that I was referring to.

SWMBO bought a triple pack of BT Diverse 6210 from Makro about 18 months ago, IIRC you can transfer all numbers stored in one phone to the others OTA. Also the base station has a SIM reader and you can copy your mobile numbers directly. Battery life is quite good, reception is clear (digital) 3.5mm jack for headphone connector (supplied) and pretty simple to use.

Bugger, just looked online and they're discontinued :(

Check these out........

Got Panasonic dual cordless phones myself, one for the lounge and one for the office and they'rrrrrrrrre GREAT (thet sounde JUST like a cereal advert :D )

My old but still in use "Philips Onis Vox 200" is more than 7 years old and have Shared phonebook (new phonebook entry in one handset is automatically available on all handsets) and Private phonebook that is unique to that handset.

I know exactly what are you looking for and if you find one model that do it send PM please….. :giggle:
