Does any one have the full coding for coming home lights

Cheers

It’s already been posted,

but TBH if you cannot find it under 09, then the question that should be asked is should the operator be messing around with the coding in the first place?

Hi again

Just got back from my dealer and they say both cornering fogs and coming home lights are not available for my car, I have some paperwork work which they gave me I will put this up when I have a mo - they spoke to both skoda uk and the factory and they both say no :(

Well I would be surprised if that is true as it was available on Taylor’s car when I cded it and his looks to be the same spec as yours, why not get someone with VCDS to take a look at it?

Not all dealers are clued up with the coding change.

Funnily enough I spoke to my dealer today who said that the feature is more likely to be available under VCDS / Vagcom than VW's system - ODIS if I heard the service manager correctly ?

If that's the case, anyone near Sheffield wanna do mine, if so PM me ta.

That sounds more feasible as VAS and ODIS cannot do certain things that VCDS can do.

There is a map and list of VCDS owners in my signature, from memory there are about 5 members in Sheffield, drop them a PM.

After waiting 1hr at the Dealers I was told categorically by the Service manager that auto locking at 10mph could not be activated on my car....i came home, did some reasearch, spent a few minutes with VagCom and I got it working myself.

Most dealers don't seem to have a clue about this kind of stuff.

We have our own citigo on which we've played with all possible codings..

No need to see the dealer ;)

This is really rather odd I had read elsewhere on this forum that this could be set up, so I asked our dealer to do it before we took delivery of our 60 elegance, can't see there being any difference with a 75 version

I personally don't have access to VCDS/Vagcom. but would be interested in getting it. What is the best way and how much? It would need to be compatible with my 07 plate Ocky?

1. Go to Google

2. Type in vcds

3. Look at the "shopping" tab :D

Anyone near the sussex area - my dealer didnt really have a clue I dont think :)

I dont have the software vcds and would rather not spend that at the moment

That's Dealer logic for you. To be fair my local dealer has proved to be less than helpful with a lot of things.

I have just rechecked the manual that came with the car and it quite clearly says in there that automatic locking of the boot and doors is a dealer setting and can be requested.

I suggest you locate the section and wave it under their nose!!!

Is it possible to code the tail lights to come on with the DRL's?

The second sales person we are dealing with (The first one left or was he pushed?) is playing a bit of a game. I gave him all the details for the cornering fogs, single door unlock, coming/going lights three plus weeks ago and the car is due in on the 25th. Yet he still has not spoken to the service team to organise getting it done? Now they have umpteen cars to PDI before the 1st March. I don't hold out much hope of getting that all done on the PDI. I think it will be up to me to talk to the service crew?

I have just been told single door opening is standard on Citigo now?

The dealer said that they would have to contact Skoda UK to get the official coding's for cornering fogs and coming/leaving lights before they can get these done? No Comment?

Well collected the car and as expected we got told 'Sorry but the options you asked for are not available on the Citigo'. I did see an email from Skoda Technical saying that they are not valid options and would invalidate the warranty? Unfortunately I could not get a copy?

Have found out that single door unlock is not standard (well not on mine anyway)

  • 2 weeks later...

Just about to have a go at these (wish me luck). To confirm single unlock is not enabled as standard.

"Tear wipe" can be activate aswel should you wish it.

Odd - wifeys Citigo has single unlock but it was a dealer demo car (for all of 5 days and 71 miles...)

I have been communicating with Skoda UK to try and establish what coding options are on UK models. The reply I got back was they talked to my dealer and none of the following are standard. cornering fogs, coming home lights, tear wipe, single door unlock (which we know already). So my question was not answered as do skoda UK set the options that their models can have?

Now my question is 'are any of these options standard through the dealer on a Citigo in other countries?' if so which country's and what option are they?

If other countries have these as standard there should be no reason why they are not available through the Uk Skoda network? Or am i just getting annoyed for nothing?

  • 2 months later...

I have just done the single door unlock on single key fob button press by coding Byte 0 Bit 0 (bit 5 enables/disables key fob button locking)
