What kinda mpg should I be getting out of my 1.3 Felicia. Seem to be getting 34 at the mo

Hi, I was getting similar from my 1.3 mpi estate & a bit more on longer steady runs.

That sounds about right.

The best I got was 47.3 mpg on a long run over the Germany taking it steady.

Would normally get low 40's on a run and was averaging about 36mpg with town driving too.

I assume it's a 50 kW MPI. If the car is mint you should get:

- 55 mpg at 55 mph

- 38 mpg at 75 mph

- 35 mpg in city

That is a 41 mpg 1/3 mix.

Of course mpg can vary according to many variables.

Will give you a good idea of what to expect.

Mine was a 1.3 SPi.

Highest was 46.7 mpg (drive to/from the last Brisky national meet following a 1965 Skoda Octavia at 55mph).

Lowest was 27.1 mpg (just town driving and thrashing it!)

I average 37 mpg but it's so variable that it can easily go from 33 up to 40 depending on what kind of month I've had. My record mileage on 1 tank was 338 miles and I was cutting it fine!

If you keep getting around 34 mpg even on long runs I'd suggest doing some investigating.

Ive done 280 mile and got a 1/4 of tank left
