A clock that pasengers can see

Featured Replies

At last I have stopped passengers going on about not having a clock on display on the dash. This see through clock sticks via a sucker onto the window and the digital time can be seen with ease. From Hong Kong-seven day delivery and two purchased for a fiver, an absolute bargain

  • You need to concentrate on the beer smell from the apron ... I live near the coast and the smell of the fishing boats landing at Sheringham can be confusing otherwise .

That's neat!

My wife complains about not being able to see the clock. So now i insist she wears a watch when we go out. :giggle:

What's wrong with the display on the stereo?

There isn't one on the Bolero, unfortunately.

That looks like the same one I've bought, TH. Did think about mounting it there but decided that it would be awkward to change the battery stuck on like that, so have used a spare vent mount stuck to the back away from the battery carrier

ah.....crawls into corner.....currently available....Bob's still skiiing.

Does the Columbus have a clock then?? :)

a cheaper option would be to leave her at home.........

I haven't noticed a missing clock I think in this day and age when mobile phones, watches and the radio giving time checks every 5 minutes do you really need another time piece?

I like the one you have bought though, as said it looks tidy.

I'm sure we have a clock on our two, but then they both have a Columbus unit.

The main point I notice from this post is trying to avoid an option that looks cheap and cheerful. With less of the cheerful.

As James has posted. With watches, mobile phones, sound checks on radio programmes and a driver with a clock to ask I wouldn't personally be sticking any cheap add-on to the dash of my Yeti.

But we are all different and some probably have more nagging to put up with. :)

I did what I was told by the wife!!

I notice that I paid for it though!!

You can program the Columbus to show the time.

Possibly, but not everyone has a Columbus!

Does the Columbus have a clock then?? :)

my SE plus has the Amundsen, with a clock

Yes.....

But early versions from a few years ago didn't. Unless the firmware was updated.

Except when heading for a cross channel ferry or euro tunnel.

Pubs do have opening (and even in Norfolk) closing times!

Bob doesn't need a clock to tell if its opening time ;)

I can detect the scent of the barmaid's apron from 5 miles away as soon as she opens the pub door!

With a clock you needn't be 5 miles away when your finely tuned olfactory organ kicks in.

I suspect it's nearer the flesh than just the apron!
