Thanks due my Ferby.... done me right for 6 years and so many miles....practically trouble free if you forgive the very minor known issues which haven't been any trouble to sort.

Tomorrow likely to be 100K then! So celebration is very much due for that

Was hoping it also coincided with the 14th but that would only make the missus jealous lol

do it!!! dont use the car til the 14th then take her over the 100k mark

Mine will hit 185k tomorrow :D

100,000 in a car from new is impressive! :sun:

I certainly think its impressive without anything major!

I've posted recently on a thread here, but basically I've had in regard to beyond normal servicing:

Short alternator wire problem (and easy fix), egr gasket mod (for better feel), new battery a year ago, new console bushes. Oh and the leaky rears, easily fixed myself too.

Aside from that its been 100% original on parts except consumables of course (disks/tyres) - bearing that it mind it is impressive and proud to say its done me extremely well.

Second car I've bought from new from Skoda, and besides some not necessarily glowing customer services, I've always been impressed by the cars themselves. Thumbs up!

Brun that is great! All hail the high mileage Skodas lol

I posted a thread about my son's Fabia1 a few months ago. It's a 3 cylinder 1.2 jobby with over 120,000 on a '56 plate. He's in his 30s and loves the car.

Had it from almost new and, apart from regular servicing ( by me), only the console bushes and a rad/fan switch have needed attention. Also he can get 50 mpg if he takes it easy.

He wants to change it for an Octavia estate when funds allow.

Me? Will be changing my 60,000 mile 1.6 Fabia2 for a Yeti this year. Skoda through and through - that's me!
