1 for hybrid turbo owners

Featured Replies

At what revs does ur turbo spool to what people call full boost?

30 psi

Or 2 bar (thats the limits of a pd150 hybrid)

Oh oh my bad misunderstood the question! Turbo spool should be similar to the stock turbo. If yours is laggy the actuator arm may be set up incorrectly

Boost comes in like stock and I hit full boost at around 2200rpm ish (Its going to be slightly higher than the little KKK pd130 as its more mass to spin up). I peak at ~28psi, and settles at ~25psi to the red line.

Hope this helps :)

Yeah mine comes in around 2000rpm, running 1.8bar/26psi

Mine is like 3k its a pd150 hybrid thats at full boost 1.8bar

I assume its down to the mapping? I guess you didnt ask for it to come in that high?

Can be down to turbo setup too - actuator length and where the stop screw is set up. These turbos are less about the mapping, and more about how the turbo is set up. :)

I bow to your greater knowledge lol

And while were on the subject, when does yours kick in Jason? (I know its not a 150 but I'm curious)

So witch way does it need 2 b screwed as the mapper told me you just mainly adjust it for the holding off the boost

What's psi usually on a remapped KKK? like ballpark figure.
