Hi all, I have a 59 TDI Elegance with a Bolero head unit. No maxidot. Is there a way to get temperature permanently displayed on the dash or on the head unit like it was in my 55 Elegance.

Currently I am using the stalk switch to have a look then moving back to instant mpg.

No. I've just fitted a bolero to mine without maxidot and cannot get it to display on it. Although I do have it my dash.

Just as an option through the stalk though, not permanently displayed..?

On my Stream unit, it is possible to turn on/off displaying the temperature and clock in the settings on the 2nd screen after pressing the Mode button.

I'm sure if this was possible on the Bolero you would have already done it, but I thought I'd mention it just in case!

I have a 55 octy which had a Stream HU but didn't have Maxidot. When I had a Bolero I lost both the temp and clock on the HU. There wasn't an option in the menu of the Bolero to change this. When I then upgraded again to a Columbus the Clock came back. This was a setting on the HU. Alas no temp though. I do miss the temp :(

Are you that fussed about the temp? I just toggle if I really want to know
