is that home grown or a proper one so to speak as home grown are proper excuse the pun

I don't like them, they just don't seem to sit well and look a bit stuck on :/

They look better in person than in the pictures.

I was going to use this place, they offer the choice of a new one, or send yours off to be converted. I dont have a drivers vent so I was gonna get a new one but it still works out a little cheaper I think.

lol i think thats on the cards mate save a few dollars as the prices are OTT for me

They are pretty ott for what they are. If you can make one half decent you could make a few quid I suspect.

couldnt you just put a tee piece in a vacuum hose?? there are plenty going to the vacuum box on osf strut top

£75???

you would have to be mental to pay that for someone that has stuck a bit of PVC into a standard vent!

why not take the whole cover off, blank off the vent and mount the gauge behind it and just take out the moving shutters? or make your own blanking plate so it sits flush?

Sounds like a good idea

I was mainly asking as I have a double din stereo, so no room underneath it for gauges.

For those with the vent pod do your hands get in the way at all?

I might make a pod on the A pillar :)

its what i plan on doing :)

The boost gauges require a feed straight from the turbo pipework itself. If you t piece it into the vacuum side itll read negative readings.

If I eventually decide then I'm going to go down the chavvy route of mounting them in the A pillar, a standard A pillar with some universal pods and some fibre glass then get it flocked or something :)

They do look quite good tbh, but I couldn't do with a non working vent in the winter, as it helps demist and deice the car.

Just my opinion.

That's what I thought too

Why not just get creative with the A pillar?

That's what I'm thinking now :)
