Egr delete

Featured Replies

I have just blown my turbo and have been told it would be worth blanking the Egr valve can some one give me some advice on how to do this

You need an EGR delete kit. Do you have a BLT or ASZ engine?

Would also need it turned off in the mapping.

When you delete the EGR it will turn on a light on your dash which needs mapped to be turned off as your car will think there is an engine fault.

if it puts an engine light on will that make it run like a bag of spanners or will it not effect it? Also how do i find out if my engine is BLT or ASZ?

well my vrs is a 54 plate so does that mean its an ASZ?

My 54 plate is an asz for what it's worth.

I have an egr delete kit for the ASZ engine, decided against modifying her.

Drop me a pm if you're interested

£34 deleted :)

Check your log book for the engine code. It will contain either ASZ or BLT.
