Fiesta 2L 150bhp v's Fabia 130bhp?

I've heard the handling is appalling though?

And it has a horrid gearbox?

Guess it depends what you want by "handling". It won't grip the road like a supercar, but at the same time this means you don't have to be breaking the sound barrier for it to be interesting and at times a challenge. As standard the front wheels are quite skinny so it tends to understeer, wider ones make it a bit more neutral.

As it doesn't have stupidly large wheels, you don't need power steering though - which gives a lot more feedback through the steering wheel.

The gearbox seems slow if you're timing it against the amount of time it takes to move a gearstick in a manual, but if you compare it from the time you put the clutch pedal down to the time you lift the clutch pedal up (which is what the smart gear change includes autmagically), there's not a whole lot in it.

great cheeky car though! crap at pulling off, but breaks are good. puts a smile on my face when i drive it.

However... if i see tidy "birds" in a car next to me, i tend to hide! :o - girly car!

I thought the brabus Roadie was nearer 17k.

Way too much for that sort of car.

EDIT - Just looked RRP from
