After market DRL's

Featured Replies

Has anyone fitted aftermarket DRL's to their Fabia? I quite fancy doing it. Any advice on which to choose, and more importantly, wiring them up? I've spotted some on ebay with a third wire which automatically switches the DRL's off when you switch the normal lights on, any thoughts?

TIA, Trev.

Well if you make them look integral (ie like it was built with) crack on,

But if they look like jus a bodged add on it will look awful,

Never seen any aftermarket DRLs which look good. Don't do it, you will look like a wannabe!

I seen aftermarket DRL's being fitted by my old seat dealer to a Leon and when they were finished they looked well and as if the car came with them fitted from factory.

This is them fitted to a octavia.

As others have noted, whatever you do make sure the final result looks like the car came off the line with the DRLs on.

If you have a pre-facelift you could purchase then ones I installed - very stealthy installation and excellent quality. (Milotec.de)

If your Fabia though is a facelift then you are out of luck for the time being - Sadly I haven't seen anything yet that looks good or looks oem.
