Fitted universal front mount intercooler...

Featured Replies

For a total cost of £160 including labour!

Had to cut out a bit of the bumper at the bottom, remove both fog lights. The red 180 Silicone U bend can be seen when the bumper is on, but not a big problem, all in all, a good mod for a mere fraction of what Forge charge for theirs.

Looks nice and central!

Good effort though

It couldn't shift any further left due to the radiator beam, also tried moving it up but was very tight and struggled to find anywhere to bolt it on.

Should have got the grinder out :)

Notice much difference in performance?

The bottom of that bumper is very low now :/ whats it like with the car on the floor.

There was plenty of grinding going on, look at the middle crash bar lol. It feels a lot smoother, noticed abit of performance, next stop is Shark Remap me thinks! And ye the bumper is lower than I would have wanted, but it doesn't touch the floor when going over bumps so it should be fine in the long run. Going to spray the U Bend black so it's not all that noticeable and get some fake fog lights when I can find some!

Not a fan looks severly bodged!

Twin pass would have been far easier for you to fit!

The intercooler can fit behind the crash bar i.e

It is bodged, hence why it cost so little lol. That was the only intercooler I had and I was not willing to pay 100+ for one similar to that. It does the job and bar one little bit it is barely noticeable.
