New 13 plate Monte Carlo

Definitley get 1 touch unlock done, and auto locking on the doors when you drive off, something like 10mph IIRC.

Hmmm! I didn't know about this and took it for granted that the auto locking occured as standard factory set up. I'll check this out in the morning and if it's not been done do I request a VCDS change at the dealership. Is that the correct terminology?

Also, what's 1 touch unlock? Mine unlocks the drivers door only on one click and all doors on two clicks. Does this mean something else coz I don't see the advantage of opening all doors on just 1 click.

Thanks fellah's....still learning about these things

Andy I just got my new Fabia Scout and this is set to only unlock the drivers door when you unlock it (and then double click if you want to open the rest) I didn't have to ask for it to be programmed like this, it is standard.

Also I was told when i collected it that it is also set to lock itself when you are driving (not that i've tested the theory) Also there is a little button in the front to lock all the doors from the inside. (from the way it is set up i think the car has an instinct to lock itself whenever it can!)
