No, a lot of people fit a catch can to stop the intercooler getting coated in oil.

Stick a couple of litres in until it's full then re-attached the pipe... that should do it! :giggle:

I bought a second hand SS cooler a few weeks ago, filled it with petrol and let it soak for a couple of days was surprising the amount of oil that came out of it.

Be interesting to see how coated the old one is when I remove it!
